Assistant Manager

The successful Assistant Manager will demonstrate the ability to motivate, direct, and supervise staff, to manage multiple, ongoing activities, assignments and projects, and assist the General Manager with operational management of the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • 85% of their time goes towards training and daily supervision of department staff.
  • 15% of their time goes towards special projects - Spring Adventure Package, assisting in building security, authoring company correspondence, assisting in the completion of accounting and bookkeeping activities.

Work Commitments: 

  • During the winter months, October 6 through March 31 each year, the company operates a reduced schedule and is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. These are the work hours for the Assistant Service Manager during the winter. 
  • During the summer months, April 1 through October 5 each year, the company operates a complete schedule and is open 7 days a week from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. The Assistant Manager work hours are varied with varied days off.
  • As a result of the peak business demands in the months of May and September, for approximately 3 weeks in May and September, the Assistant Service Manager (along with almost all other year round staff) work a 6 day a week schedule.


Salary and Benefits: 

  • Starting Assistant Manager salary is $45,000 to $75,000 per year DOE.

Experience and Education Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree or similar preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of supervisory level experience preferred. If no degree then 6 to 10 years of supervisory level experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

  • Must be at least 25 years of age.
  • Ability to effectively motivate, direct and supervise staff.
  • Able to work well with others as well as alone.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate organizational expectations to subordinates.
  • Ability to be a self-starter, with the ability to organize and direct a project from start to completion.
  • Ability to identify department goals, develop programs, policies, and procedures to reach those goals.
  • Ability to accurately type 40 words per minute.
  • Strong verbal and communication skills.
  • Strong writing skills in written customer and employee correspondence.
  • Proficient in computer skills with in depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and Outlook.
  • Must have consistent and reliable work attendance and be to work on time.
  • Must have a valid Alaska State Driver's License and have maintained a very good driving record.
  • Must be able to travel out of town for up to two weeks in support of the Spring Adventure Package pickup program.

Housekeeper/Production Line Supervisor

The Housekeeper/Production Line Supervisor will demonstrate the ability to direct staff in the proper duties of cleaning, stocking, and outfitting motorhomes for our rental clients. The successful candidate will work with the Fixed Operations Manager to assure all building related housekeeping duties are completed and motorhome production line tasks are met on time and accurately. The Housekeeper/Production Line Supervisor will possess a positive "can-do" attitude and pay consistent attention to detail from maintaining supplies inventory to monitoring of staff work time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to direct production line employee activities and address concerns and issues.
  • Supervise and create daily work assignments for production line staff including housekeepers, shop assistants, washer-drivers, and lot attendants.
  • Conduct final inspections of motorhomes to ensure quality.
  • Train, promote and maintain production line policies and procedures with production line staff.

Salary and Benefits:

  • $12.00 - $18.00 per hour DOE plus $1.00 per hour Time Card Bonus

  • You must be at least 25 years of age.
  • You must have a valid Alaska State Driver's License.
  • You must be able to effectively motivate, direct, and supervise staff and work well with others as well as alone.

Sales Consultant

The successful Sale Consultant will assure that all customers are greeted in a prompt, friendly, and professional manner and will present a professional product presentation. The Sales Consultant will understand the company's commitment to total customer satisfaction. The Sales Consultant will perform all record keeping duties required, and always look for new ways to present the company's products to prospective customers.


Work Commitments:

  • Five days a week including weekends, 1/2 hour lunch, occasionally six days a week. This position requires 45 to 50 hours per week. The daily schedule requires that the Sales Consultant be present until all customers have been taken care of regardless of scheduled closing time.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma.
  • Must have 2 years successful rv sales experience.
  • Must have current Alaska driver's license, and clean driving record and maintain same during employment. Current copy of driving record is required.
  • Must be able to consistently present the business and products in a positive and upbeat style. Customers need to hear a "smile" over the phone and in person.
  • Requires stong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be on time for all shifts and scheduled meetings.
  • Must be a product knowledge expert and have outstanding time management skills.

We are located at 9800 Old Seward Highway .

  • Half way between Dimond Blvd. and O'Malley Blvd., between E. 94th and 100th Street, our beautiful, new 27,000 sq.ft. motorhome rental and sales dealership is next to United Rentals on the (west) side of the street. Look for our large green and white sign, turn into our driveway and park in front of the main building. Enter the glass showroom where signs will direct you to the hallway and stairs leading to the second floor administrative offices.
